Ridgeview Valley, a Stop on the Artist Studio Tour

The Garrett County Arts Council is looking forward to another great Artist Stuio Tour this year.  It is planned for Saturday and Sunday, July 24 & 25.  There will be 13 stops planned on the route with artisans showcasing woodworking, painting, jewelry making, sculpture, photography, pottery, knitting and much more. Ridgeview Valley is honored to be a stop on the tour.  Three local artisans, Judy McCaughey, Evelyn Silkey and Mary L. Kammauf will be located in the Preview Center.  I will post a sample of each of their talents and a bio later on as a reminder for this terrific event.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. Several local churches have gotten together and are hosting a National Day of Prayer Service in the barn tonight at 6pm. The weather is clearing and looking like a gorgeous day on the mountain top, what better way to spend the evening. There will be several groups providing singins as well. See Ya There!
