Pete took his grand daughters, Claudia and Caroline, 4x4 last week and they sent me this updated pic of the new water tank that sits atop our hill. This water tank plays a key role in supplying all of the McHenry area of Deep Creek Lake with great tasting drinking water.
This week is the 53rd Annual Garrett County Fair. Although I have been there several times this week to man the Coldwell Banker Deep Creek Realty booth, to watch the mud bog and the truck pull I always forget my camera. Pete on the other hand never goes anywhere without it. Pete & Rosie's grandchildren are up visiting this week and Pete shared some fair photos of Caroline & Claudia enjoying fair. I just thought I would share them with you. And if you are at the fair tonight, visit me in the Coldwell Banker Deep Creek Realty booth.
Wow, if you have not had a chance to watch the production of "Big River" performed by Theatre on the Lake in the barn here at Ridgeview Valley I recommend you hurry up because we only have two nights left. I have so far watched this theatrical production twice and have been absolutely mesmerized both times. Last night was a huge night with a sell out crowd plus. We were actually in the farm house gathering up extra chairs. I have enough seating in the barn for 150 people, so that tells you how full the barn was. It was bulging at the seams. It was so fun watching so many people enjoying our community that we are so excited about. Last evening I had the pleasure of visiting with Skip and Linda Carr of The Lake Front Magazine as well as Steve and his family from Canoe on the Run. It's really is a great place to bring the community together. Here are some photos that I took from opening night, hope you enjoy. Warming Up

GLAF, Garrett Lakes Arts Festival, hosted a beautiful concert in the barn on July 24. We were mesmerized by the outstanding talent of a trio from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Those GLAF folks sure do know how to put on a good show. Enjoy the photos. I love the rustic elegance of the barn when we have events like this. Preparation leading up to the evening event.

There has been a lot of activity going on at Ridgeview the past couple of weeks. My husband Tim and been doing some modifications to the barn to make it fire code compliant, Theatre on the Lake has been busy building props, Coldwell Banker Deep Creek Realty has been busy marketing our property and I have been just doing what I do. Enjoy some of the pics that Pete took.
