Garrett County Second Best in State!

I found this really interesting article in the Cumberland Times-News about Garrett County.  Recently released data shows that Garrett County is second only to Baltimore in our efforts to recycle.  That to me is very impressive.  It takes effort to recycle anywhere and especially in Garrett County since most people have to drive to the trash sites rather than having pick up service.  Kudos to our fellow Garrett Countians on their very green efforts. I didn't know until Pete told me when we were discussing this article but eventually we plan on having at least 6 trash compactors in the community with our own recycling bins.  That will make life even easier for the residents of Ridgeview.
