Thank you NBC25 for more coverage on our Autumn Glory Festival. I wonder if the folks that started the "Turkey Festival" all of those years ago ever gave it a thought that it might be the #1 festival in the world. I have tons of memories from Autumn Glory's of past. We always parked at my Granparent's house on High Street and walked downtown through the cemetery. We got a charge out of walking in that old cemetery. I also remember the football players selling Cokes out of grocery carts borrowed from Browning's Foodland. I don't think they do that anymore; of course that was when Coke was made in Oakland. I would love to post any other memories you may have about Autumn Glory, just email them to me and I will get them online.
