A ribbon cutting ceremony with invited guests was held on Saturday, June 28 to celebrate our Grand Opening. The cutting was eloquently conducted by Charlie Ross, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce. The ribbon cutting signified the extensive work that was performed over the last six months to place Ridgeview on the map as the most desirable community to live in Garrett County. The weekend marked the official Grand Opening of Ridgeview Valley. Phase 1 was opened with 29 introductory lots all serviced with public sewer and water. The furnished model home was a popular attraction, with its inviting modern day cottage feel and built with a variety of energy efficient features. The first half mile of the Adventure Trail was also opened and found visitors meandering through the valley of tall hard woods and rolling meadows.
